Who builds ScrollGigs
A solo founder, based in India. Frustrated by the broken job search experience - ghost listings, spam, and endless scrolling through irrelevant roles. Built ScrollGigs to fix it.
Remote hiring is global, so ScrollGigs is built for remote roles anywhere. India is simply where it starts: it is the market I know first-hand, and the one where fake listings and fee-for-job scams do the most damage.
Every feature is built from personal pain. The swipe interface? Because scrolling through 200 identical listings is soul-crushing. The AI cover letters? Because writing the same intro 50 times is insane. The spam filter? Because “maintain a computer from home for $600/week” is not a real job.
Scheduled ingestion collects roles from supported APIs and public feeds. The catalog snapshot below reports the latest completed ingestion run.
Listings receive relevance and risk signals based on title, salary, tech stack, source, and posting quality. Those signals help rank and explain the feed.
Automated filters flag common scam patterns and duplicate posts. No automated system is perfect, so source, freshness, and verification context remain visible.
No scraping. We only use official APIs and public feeds.
No resume selling. Your data stays yours.
No pay-to-rank. Boosted jobs are clearly labeled.
Open about our scoring. We show the signals behind relevance and risk.
